Review: Christmas in Harmony Harbor by Debbie Mason

Evangeline Christmas will do anything to save her year-round Christmas store, Holiday House, when high-powered real-estate developer Caine Elliot uses his money and influence to push through his competing property next door. When her last desperate attempt to stop him fails, she gambles everything on a proposition she prays the handsome, blue-eyed player can't refuse.

Caine agrees to Evie's bargain because how hard can it be to fulfill three wishes on the Angel Tree at Holiday House? The wishes have him reliving the Christmases of his past and taking part in the holiday festivities of Christmas present. But just when he begins to believe Evie might be his Christmas future, dark secrets from his past are revealed.

Will the last wish on the Angel Tree be enough to give Caine and Evie the happy ending they deserve?
I have so many feelings about this book that I'm afraid I won't do this review justice. I know that sounds kinda crazy but that's how I feel. I started writing this review in my head and I have to tell you, it was good! Unfortunately, I never remember totally what I was thinking so you're stuck with what I do remember wanting to say.

If you follow Debbie Mason than you know that Christmas in Harmony Harbor is the last book in that series. With Mason, you can't really say it's over because she sometimes likes to throw a novella into the series at a later time. Wishful thinking!

For those of us who have been reading this series, we've been waiting for this book. We all knew that everything was going to come to a head and all would be revealed. I've been both waitings for this and dreading it. I love this series and hate that it's ending.

Of course, she's starting a new one so I'm pretty happy about that.

But for now, let's deal with Christmas in Harmony Harbor. I think that so much happens in this book that your mind is going to explode. The good thing is that the author handles it all well and keeps the story moving at a great pace.

I totally love Caine. I feel so bad for him and all he has gone through. I'm surprised he hasn't made himself sick with all the conflict. He truly is a good guy who really wants to make those he loves happy. The funny part is when you fall under the umbrella of those he cares for he tries to move heaven and earth for you.

I also like Evie. I think she worked really hard to keep a family memory alive that meant something to her. She has her own family issues that aren't always the best.

Because I could go on and on about this book I'm going to try my best to start ending this review. Feel free to post to my Facebook page after I share this review if you want to talk more. I try never to give out spoilers in reviews.

As a whole, this is a wonderful story that I really enjoyed. I totally loved Caine's uncle and thought he was so sweet. There are things at the end that I was totally unhappy about and I also felt it was slightly rushed but that could have been men because I wasn't ready for the story to end. You'll have to judge the ending on your own.

I was also happy that our family ghost got her happy-ever-after. You'll love how she does. I'm so glad that I invested the time in this wonderful series and I'm going to miss them all. Do yourself a favor and pick up the series and get reading. You'll be happy! This is perfect for small-town readers.

Goodbye Harmony Harbor, you will be missed!

So, have any of you read a book by Debbie Mason? If so what is your favorite book or series?

This book includes a bonus story called One Night in Chrismas here's my review of it in case you missed it.
