Review: The Undercover Cowboy by Lori Wilde

Allie Grainger appreciated eye candy as much as the next gal, but she never expected to be rescued by it! On her way to a job interview, she was nearly trampled by a small herd of Texas Longhorns during Twilight’s Wild West Cattle Drive. Luckily for her, a shirtless cowboy actually swept her off her feet and onto the sidewalk. Perhaps she should walk and text more often.

But Kyle Richmond was no “mere” cowboy. Sent by the FBI to uncover an art theft ring, he was in Twilight, getting leads on a series of robberies that went from one end of the country to the other. Soon his clues lead him right in the direction of tempting, irresistible Allie. How can so much trouble be tied up in such a delectable package? And what will happen when Allie discovers the truth about this undercover cowboy?
This was a fun, quick read by Lori Wilde. I really enjoyed Kyle and Allie. They are so cute together. You'd just want to spend time with them.

With all novella's you need to be able to jump right into the story and get to the point. So pretty soon in the book, you know exactly what's going on.

I like the fact that Allie wants to stand on her own two feet. She needs to make her own way of things and is trying super hard to do just that. Of course, life likes to send you curveballs so...

Kyle is a great guy who's just doing his job when he is forced to rescue Allie. When you read the story you'll understand that comment. You see the budding relationship between these two and you enjoy it but since the story is only 120 pages they had to get to the point pretty quick. Didn't stop me from enjoying the story, only made me wish for more.

I think the best part of the story is how they meet. The story starts out with some action and keeps that up till the end. You don't have to have read the other book in the Twilight, Texas series to read this one. It is totally a stand-alone story. If you haven't yet read her than this one a good one to try.

Have any of you read her before? If so, what's your favorite book or series?
