Review: A Spiced Apple Winter by Emma Cane

A Spiced Apple Winter is like that. In the series each of the kids come back home to help out with the orchard. This is the second book in the Fairfield Orchard series. Up this time we have Tyler and Brianna story. 

From the first book, these two called to me. I'm not sure why. I think it's because Brianna is going through something that only others that have to deal with it understand. Because of that, she's working twice as hard as she has in the past.

Now Tyler is dealing with a bunch of his own crap. He doesn't have a job at the moment and even though he promised to help out the family he keeps thinking about going back home and finding a new acting job. But to be honest with you I don't think that's what he really wanted. 

Tyler is a very complexed character. He's flawed but not as badly as he thinks. He has something that many people suffer from and learns to live with. I think him having these issues are what make him such a great hero. Everyone has their junk. 

Just when these two look like they are going to make a connection again Gabby walks back into their lives, well more like Tyler's life since she's friends with him. It adds a little twist to the story that I enjoyed. 

It takes a while but Tyler finally gets a clue on what he wants in life and who. I think you'll really enjoy reading their story and you'll want to read the next book in the series, The Apple Blossom Cafe. I know I have to start it soon. For those who enjoy small-town romance with family drama, you'll really enjoy this series.
