Angus Murray, bouncer for a New Orleans Shifter bar, is sent to round up an elusive, Collar-less Shifter woman, Tamsin Calloway, who is causing trouble for Shifter Bureau, and possesses information they want. If Angus refuses, he risks losing his cub. He finds Tamsin but she's slippery and not about to be rounded up quietly.

In fact, quiet is nothing Tamsin will ever be. She leads Angus on a wild chase, but he's determined to bring her in to save his son.

Can Tamsin convince Angus she's worth helping before she's locked away by Shifter Bureau, Collared, or perhaps killed?

I have to say that I always enjoy Jennifer Ashley. Sometimes one more then the others. This is one of those cases.

I just loved this book. You won't be able to not love both Angus, his son and Tamsin. These three are a hoot! They cracked me up throughout the story. They are one of my favorite families in this series. You could feel their love for each other jump off the pages of the book.

From page on you will feel like this book runs to the ending, that's how fast it moves. It felt like I started it and finished it in seconds. And believe me when I say I can't read that fast no matter what I would like to believe.

Like I mentioned you'll the characters of this book, present and past characters. You will be drawn into the plot of this story and need to know how it turns out. I know more then once I worried it would turn out good even with knowing that it's a romance and they always turn out good.

This is a wonderful story with so many emotions running through it. I will say it again, I just loved it. I can't tell you how glad I am to have read it. I will tell you that I guess this could stand on it's own but I wouldn't read it first if you haven't yet read this series. I would start at the beginning and read them in order. It's better with you get to know the characters. They help make the next books they are in even better, like Tiger, Zander and Ben to name a few. The whole series is really worth your time.

If you've read Midnight Wolf or any other book by Jennifer Ashley I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for visiting and happy reading! ♡
