Review: Red Wolf by Jennifer Ashley

Red Wolf
Shifters Unbound #10

Dimitri and Jaycee, Kendrick the White Tiger’s most trusted trackers, are asked to go undercover to infiltrate a group of Shifters who may be working to enslave them all.

From the back blurb:
A man is only as strong…

Red wolf shifter Dimitri has fought his whole life for respect. It is claimed that red wolves are tainted with coyote blood and are therefore not pure. He may not be skilled at verbally defending himself, but as a bodyguard, tracker, and champion of the fight clubs, his fists are always ready for some rough and tumble. However, he’d prefer a roll in the hay with the woman who’s been his oldest friend.

…as the woman who’s got his back…

A spirited leopard shifter and a fellow tracker, Jaycee Bordeaux has no problem forging a mate bond with Dimitri, but soon the two are called to infiltrate a rogue group bent on enslaving Shifters. Jaycee may have defended Dimitri from taunts before, but they now face a more lethal danger—one that not only threatens the future of their people, but also their love.

I'm a huge fan of Ashley's shifters. I just love them and look forward to reading when they come out, before even. I enjoy them that much.

Each book in the series keeps getting better and better. I think part of that reason is the fact that she writes such good characters, ones that you'd love to be around. Of course it's not only the characters that make her stories so good, it's the writing of course.

They are filled with laughter and tears.

Red Wolf is no different then the rest. There a some very funny moments in this story, but there are also ones that got to my heart.

I really loved both Dimitri & Jaycee. Right away Dimitri knows that Jaycee is his mate. She fights it a little but only because she doesn't believe he could care that much about her. Silly cat!

You are just going to love these two together and really enjoy their story.

Red Wolf moves the main thread of the story nicely and also brings us back to New Orleans where we've been in prior books. That was fun! Red Wolf will leave you both satisfied and wanting. You be happy that you've had Dimitri & Jaycee's story, but you'll want more! Not of their story of the series stories. Ashley might write really fast but sometimes it feels not fast enough.

If you've read Red Wolf or any other book by Jennifer Ashley I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for visiting and happy reading! ♡
