A Demon and His Witch
Remy’s not ready to settle down, not when the ladies love him so much. A giving demon, why would he deny them the pleasure of his excellent technique? But his view on monogamy changes when he meets a saucy witch with a firm grasp of the word ‘No!’ Who could resist the challenge? However, before he can put his demonizing days behind him, he needs to catch the bad guys, save the witch, and find a way to convince her to love him, not kill him.

Here we are again, it's Book Club Thursday. I hope you take the time to post a comment and to remember to visit the other two blogs participating in Thursday Book Club. I also want to remind you that because this is a book club there will be spoilers.
This is the first time I've read Eve Langlais and I have to say it won't be the last. I had issues with some of the writing but in general, it was a funny story. Even though this isn't a very long story, around 200 pages, you feel like you're getting a full story. All the characters are very good and you want to know more about them. You can't help but feel for bad for Ysabel and what she suffered as a young woman. You understand her need to distance herself from everything male, except for Satan, him she has no choice but to be around. Remy you don't really get to know much about him other then that he's a player. You do get to watch him grow as a person, or should I say half person, half demon. It's touching how he comes to care for a woman (witch) who would rather he be anywhere but near her. The perfect match. You also can't help but fall for Satan, he's funny and not without a bit of a heart in him. I would read the other books in the series just for him. I think you'll enjoy the humor and characters in this story and will be left wanting more. The good news is that there is more in books in the series. There is even a story about Ysabel's friend and Satan's daughter, Muriel that you hear so much about.
I would give this book 3 stars. The humor is what carried this book.
If you've read A Demon and His Witch or not, please join us in talking about it. Remember to stop at the other two blogs that are part of Book Club Thursday Happy reading!
