Englishman Lake Benson loaned his life savings to his dippy sister so that she could buy a shop. It was a big mistake. Review

I've much liked this story. I found Lake to be funny, when he goes to WAR against Kirsty it made me laugh. I enjoyed the characters, but at times found that I really didn't feel like I was in Scotland. One of the reasons I read the book was because of the location. It took me a while to get over that but with it being well written that helped. I think if you are looking for a fun end of summer read then this is your book. Happy reading!
